If you haven’t heard yet, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are splitsville. (Is that even a word?) After Scott’s escape from a Florida drug rehab facility earlier this week- mere hours after he checked into the facility, mind you- Kourtney K packed up their three kids and told Scott if he doesn’t shape up and get help for his addiction they’re over for good, according to NY Daily News. The matriarch of the Kardashian droves, Kris Jenner (who has lately been overshadowed by Cait Jenner), is supposedly the only one still speaking to Scott, trying to get him the help he needs to quell his alleged alcohol addiction.
What does Kim K have to say about all of this? Not a thing, from what we’ve gathered. Kim Kardashian’s too busy running Rob under the bus about his own drug addiction. (You can read Kim Kardashian’s interview about Rob’s addiction here.)
Apparently Scott’s situation is so dire even his partners in crime have said he needs to seek professional drug treatment. NY Daily News reports Disick has shown up to business meeting still reeling from the effects of the night before. Bad for business. But maybe that is a true indication Disick is in need of help- as one of the telltale signs of addiction is one’s inability to stop using, despite the detriments the conditions has on everyday life.
At this point it’s too soon to tell if Scott will commit to the help he needs. For his own sake, and that of his family, we sincerely hope he’s able to stick with a rehab plan. Maybe he didn’t feel comfortable undergoing addiction treatment in Florida, after Rob Kardashian went to rehab in the Sunshine state. In any event, we wish him the best of luck in his successful recovery.
