Caitlyn Jenner’s Daughter: Kylie Jenner Tussles with Drug Abuse and Possible Addiction

We all know about Caitlyn Jenner’s infamous Vanity Fair cover and her big reveal, but, with all of the hype and celebration, is Caitlyn’s daughter taking a backseat to her big debut? Kylie Jenner is best known for her role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians as the half sister of the three K’s- but the 17 year old has less known credits to her name, including a successful nail polish line and a novel credited to Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner, entitled Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia. On the outside it appears Kylie’s living a charmed life under the spotlight, but naturally, the stress of being 17 and famous takes its toll on anyone (especially hormonal teenagers). The Examiner reports Kylie’s family is deeply concerned about Kylie’s alleged drug abuse.

It’s supposed Kylie may be actively self medicating with cocaine, MDMA, and ecstasy, according to an unnamed source quoted by The Examiner. Allegedly, Scott Disick, a family friend of the Jenner’s who has recently gone to rehab himself, urged Kylie to get help. The source claims Kylie does not want to go to drug rehabilitation. The Examiner quotes, “Kylie started drinking at about 14. Now that she’s doing Xanax and coke with her friends, she believes it’s not that big a deal. Kylie is a complete mess.”

Now, it wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity was accused of doing something they didn’t, but since we can’t quote a direct source (or Kylie herself) claiming Kylie’s alleged drug use, we’re not sure how much is false and how much is a true concern. We do hope if Kylie is struggling with substance abuse that she gets help sooner than later. Her step brother, Rob Kardashian, has recently checked into drug rehabilitation in Florida. Whatever the problems may be, we’re certain Kylie has the resources and strong family support to help her overcome the trying obstacles in her life.
